Internet Explorer 4.x (PC)

Open a browser session.
From the View menu, select Internet Options
Click on the Advanced Tab.
Scroll down to Cookies and select "Always Accept Cookies".
Click OK twice.
Close and reopen your browser and return to and enjoy the benefits of Alamo.com membership.

Internet Explorer 5.x and above (PC)

Open a browser session.
From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
From Internet Options, select the Security tab.
Highlight the icon for the Trusted Sites.
Click the "Custom Level" button.
At the bottom of the Security Settings window, make sure the "Reset to:" drop down is set to low, then click the "Reset" button.
Click OK
Select the "Sites" button
In the Trusted Sites window, make sure the check box on the lower left hand corner is NOT selected.
In the top text field type http://www.alamo.com and click "Add" to add this Web site to the your Trusted Site zone.
Click OK twice.
Close and reopen your browser and return to and enjoy the benefits of Alamo.com membership.
In Internet Explorer 5.x, specifying a site as a Trusted Site overrides your global cookie settings that manage cookies from all other sites you visit. Specifying Alamo.com as a Trusted Site allows you to accept cookies from us, yet follow the rules you have set forth for all other sites on the Internet.

Internet Explorer 6.x (PC)

From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
From Internet Options, select the Privacy Tab.
Click Advanced. If 'Override automatic cookie handling' is checked, uncheck it." Click OK.
Make sure the slider on the left is set lower than "Block all cookies". This slider controls how cookies are managed at each site you visit. However, to always accept cookies from Alamo we need to override this setting. To do so, continue with step 5.
Click on Edit which opens the "Per Site Privacy Action" window.
In the text field labeled "Address of Web site", enter alamo.com, click Allow, then click OK.
Close and reopen your browser and return to Alamo.com to enjoy the benefits of Alamo.com Membership.

Open a browser session.
From the Edit Menu, select Preferences.
Under Categories, click Advanced.
Select 'Accept all cookes'.
Click OK.
Close and reopen your browser and return to and enjoy the benefits of Alamo.com membership.

AOL (PC)

In the AOL Settings menu, click Preferences.
In the "My AOL Preferences" window, click Internet Properties (WOW).
On the Internet Options window, click the Security tab, and then click Custom Level.
In the Settings list, scroll down until you see the word Cookies.
Click the button next to the word Enable, then click OK.
You may have to quit and restart you AOL software for these settings to go into effect.

Internet Explorer 5.x (MAC)

Have your browser window active, click on Edit | Preferences.
In the Preferences pop-up window expand the "Receiving Files " choice if it isn't already expanded.
In the drop-down list choose "Cookies".
For the drop down box labeled "When receiving cookies:" choose "Never ask".
Click OK.
When enabling cookies, you must close and reopen your browser window(s) for the change to take place, so please do so now.
